If you have noticed a fee on a recent Zutopia trade, this is expected behaviour rather than an error. Zutopia charges a transaction fee on every buy and sell trade to cover card processing and payout costs through Stripe.
Standard Transaction Fee
Every trade carries a transaction fee charged to both the buyer and seller: 1.60% for domestic transactions or 3.45% for international transactions, or the relevant minimum fee if the trade value is below $75 USD.
Monthly Subscription Fee
A $5 USD fee is charged to both the buyer and seller on their first trade of each calendar month. If you don’t trade during that month, no fee is charged.
Important Notes
If a fee seems incorrect for the trade you completed, contact Zutopia support so the transaction can be reviewed.
