To keep fees proportionate on smaller trades, Zutopia applies a fixed minimum fee instead of a percentage rate once a transaction falls below a certain value.
Knowing this threshold helps you understand why a small trade might cost slightly more, proportionally, than a larger one.
When the Minimum Fee Applies
The minimum transaction fee applies to trades with a value of less than $75 USD.
The minimum fees are:
$1.60 USD for domestic transactions.
$2.50 USD for international transactions.
These fees apply separately to both the buyer and the seller.
Important Notes
For transactions valued at $75 USD or more, the standard percentage-based transaction fee applies instead of the minimum fee.
A transaction is considered domestic when the buyer uses an AUD payment card and the seller receives payouts to an AUD bank account. Otherwise, the transaction may be treated as international.
All applicable fees are displayed before you confirm a trade.
The monthly USD $5.00 compliance fee, where applicable, is separate from the minimum transaction fees described in this article.
