Unlike a custodial platform, where a company holds your funds on your behalf, Zucoins are stored in your own Zucoins Wallet. This gives you full control over your assets.
What This Means for You
Your Zucoins Wallet is used to access Zutopia and authorise Zucoin transactions.
Because your wallet is self-custodied:
You are responsible for keeping your wallet and backup file secure.
Only you control access to your Zucoins.
Zutopia does not have access to your wallet, private keys, or backup file.
If you restore your wallet on a new device, you'll need to verify it with Zutopia again before trading.
Important Notes
Zutopia cannot recover your wallet or your Zucoins if you lose your wallet or backup file.
If your Zucoins Wallet is compromised, your Zutopia account may also be at risk.
Keeping your wallet backup in a secure location is one of the most important steps you can take to protect your Zucoins.
