Add or manage payment cards

A valid payment method is required to purchase Zucoins on Zutopia. Your saved payment cards are used when buying from another user and are securely managed by Stripe.

Before each purchase, your selected payment card is pre-authorised for the value of the trade. Funds are only captured after the Zucoin transfer has been successfully completed.

You can add a new card or review your existing cards at any time from your account settings.

Before You Begin

  • An active Zutopia account

  • A supported debit or credit card

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open Zutopia and go to your account settings.

  2. Select the payment cards section.

  3. Add a new card or review the cards already saved to your account.

From the Cards screen, you can:

  • Add a new payment card.

  • View your saved payment cards.

  • Manage your existing payment methods.

Supported Card Types

Zutopia accepts Visa, Mastercard, eftpos, American Express, China UnionPay, and Japan Credit Bureau (JCB). Visa and Mastercard are accepted globally, while eftpos is designed for domestic use by Australian cardholders.

Important Notes

  • A valid payment card is required when purchasing Zucoins.

  • Your payment card is pre-authorised before a transaction begins to ensure sufficient funds are available.

  • If the trade is completed successfully, the payment is captured and transferred to the seller through Stripe.

  • If the trade is cancelled or unsuccessful, the pre-authorisation is released and your card is not charged.

  • Your card details are securely stored by Stripe and are never stored directly by Zutopia.
