Listings on Zutopia are automatically deactivated under certain conditions to keep the marketplace reliable for everyone trading on it.
This helps keep the marketplace responsive by ensuring that users only attempt to trade with people who are actively available. Understanding why a listing was deactivated can help you avoid it happening again.
Common Reasons for Deactivation
Your listing may be deactivated if you do not respond to a trade request within the required 60-second time limit.
When a trade request is missed, Zutopia assumes you are no longer available to trade and automatically deactivates your listing. This prevents other users from sending additional trade requests that cannot be completed.
Listings also become temporarily hidden if they are not renewed within the three-hour active window. Renewal is available in the final 15 minutes of that window.
How to Reactivate Your Listing
If your listing has been deactivated:
Open the Zutopia app.
From the Home screen, tap your username.
Your account status will display Sleep Mode.
Tap Active to make your listings available in the marketplace again.
Once your account is active, eligible listings will become visible to other users.
Important Notes
Listings are automatically deactivated if you do not respond to a trade request within 60 seconds.
Deactivating inactive listings helps ensure a better trading experience for all marketplace users.
Listings remain active for three hours and can be renewed during the final 15 minutes before they expire.
If you know you'll be unavailable, it's recommended that you deactivate your listings before leaving the app to avoid missed trade requests.
