Sell Zucoins to an existing listing

If you don't want to wait for someone to purchase your Sell listing, you can sell your Zucoins directly to an existing Buy listing in the marketplace.

This is often the quickest way to sell Zucoins, as the buyer has already specified the price they're willing to pay and the quantity they want to purchase.

Before You Begin

  • A verified Zucoins Wallet linked to Zutopia

  • Completed Stripe onboarding, including bank details for payouts

Recommended: If you've never completed a Zucoin transaction before, we recommend practising a transfer with someone you know first. This helps you become familiar with the transfer process before trading with other users.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open Zutopia and tap Sell Zucoins.

  2. Browse the marketplace for an active Buy listing. Listings are displayed according to the current market price.

  3. Tap Sell on the listing you want to fulfil.

  4. Review the listing details, including:
    - Buyer's username
    - Price per Zucoin
    - Quantity of Zucoins
    - Total Zucoins value

  5. If partial fulfillment is available, tap Edit to change the quantity of Zucoins you want to sell, then tap Save.

  6. Review the transaction details and tap Confirm.

  7. Your trade request is sent to the buyer for approval.

  8. Wait for the buyer to accept the trade. Once accepted, Zutopia will verify the wallet balances and pre-authorise the buyer's payment.

  9. When prompted, tap Copy Zucoins Code.

  10. Without closing Zutopia, open your Zucoins Wallet and complete the transfer using the provided transfer code.

  11. Return to Zutopia, paste the transfer code when prompted, and tap Confirm Trade.

  12. Once the transfer has been successfully verified, you'll receive confirmation that the transaction is complete.

Important Notes

  • Before selling Zucoins, you must complete Stripe onboarding.

  • Listings are displayed according to the current market price.

  • Buyers and sellers each have 60 seconds to respond during each stage of the transaction. If either party does not respond in time, the transaction will be cancelled automatically.

  • If the buyer does not accept your request before the timer expires, no Zucoins are transferred and no payment is processed.

  • Do not close the Zutopia app while completing the transfer in your Zucoins Wallet.

  • Payouts from completed sales are processed through your connected Stripe account.
