Buy Zucoins from an existing listing

If you don't want to wait for someone to fulfill your own listing, you can buy Zucoins directly from a Sell listing that another user has already created.

This is one of the fastest ways to acquire Zucoins on Zutopia, since the price and amount are already set by the seller.

Before You Begin

  • A verified Zucoins Wallet linked to Zutopia

  • Completed Stripe identity verification

  • A valid payment card added to your account.

  • Recommended: If you've never completed a Zucoin transaction before, we recommend practising a transfer with someone you know first. This helps you become familiar with the transfer process before trading with other users.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Browse the marketplace for an active Sell listing.

  2. Select the listing you want to buy from and tap Buy on the listing.

  3. Select the payment card you want to use and tap Next.

  4. Review the listing details, including:
    - Seller's username
    - Price per Zucoin
    - Quantity of Zucoins
    - Total purchase price
    ​

  5. If partial fulfilment is available, you can tap Edit to change the quantity of Zucoins you wish to purchase. Tap Save when finished.

  6. Review your purchase details carefully, then tap Confirm.

  7. Your trade request is sent to the seller for review.

  8. Wait for the seller to accept your request. If accepted, Zutopia will pre-authorise the payment on your selected card while preparing the trade.

  9. Once prompted, tap Copy Zucoins Code.

  10. Without closing Zutopia, open your Zucoins Wallet and paste the transfer code.

  11. Verify the transfer details in your wallet and tap Yes, this is correct to complete the transfer.

  12. Return to Zutopia if prompted. Once the transfer has been successfully verified, you'll see a confirmation screen with your transaction details.

Important Notes

  • Listings are displayed according to the current market price.

  • Both the buyer and seller have 60 seconds to respond during each stage of the transaction. If either party does not respond in time, the trade will automatically expire.

  • If the seller does not accept your request before the timer expires, your payment method will not be charged, and you can try purchasing from the same listing again or choose another listing.

  • Your payment card is pre-authorised when the seller accepts the trade. Funds are only captured after the Zucoin transfer has been successfully confirmed.

  • Do not close the Zutopia app while completing the transfer in your Zucoins Wallet.
