Your Zucoins Wallet address is required so Zutopia can verify Zucoin transfers during marketplace transactions.
Because Zutopia is a peer-to-peer marketplace and does not hold your Zucoins, it uses your wallet address to confirm that a transfer has been successfully completed before processing payment.
How the Wallet Address Is Used
When you link your Zucoins Wallet to Zutopia:
Your wallet address is associated with your Zutopia account.
Before a trade is completed, Zutopia checks that the seller has the required Zucoins available.
After the transfer, Zutopia verifies that the Zucoins have been successfully sent to the buyer.
Once the transfer is confirmed, the buyer's payment is processed through Stripe.
Wallet addresses on the SplitChain network are publicly viewable, allowing wallet balances and transactions to be independently verified.
