Zutopia is intentionally designed without escrow accounts, meaning it never takes custody of either Zucoins or fiat currency during a trade.
This design choice is central to how the platform operates as a peer-to-peer marketplace rather than a custodial exchange.
No Escrow Accounts
Zutopia does not hold or store your Zucoins. All Zucoins are stored within your Zucoins Wallet. During transactions, purchasing funds are pre-authorised at the start of a transaction and only released after a successful transfer.
Important Notes
Because funds and Zucoins remain with the trading parties themselves, Zutopia's role is to verify and coordinate the trade rather than to hold value on anyone's behalf.
