Creating a Zutopia account is the first step toward buying and selling Zucoins peer-to-peer. Zutopia is built to connect directly with your Zucoins Wallet, so your wallet effectively becomes your identity on the platform.
Once your account is set up and your wallet is verified, you can begin browsing and creating listings on the marketplace.
Before You Begin
A device that can run the Zutopia progressive web app (PWA)
A Zucoins Wallet, installed and backed up on the same device
Step-by-Step Instructions
Download Zutopia for your device.
Download and install the Zutopia app on your device. If you haven't already, download and install the Zucoins Wallet as well. Zutopia requires a Zucoins Wallet to create and manage your account.
Open the Zucoins wallet.
Launch the Zucoins Wallet and tap Trade. When prompted, confirm that you have installed Zutopia.
Copy the unique code from Zucoins wallet.
After confirming Zutopia is installed, select Copy Unique Code.
Open the Zutopia app.
Open the Zutopia app and paste the unique code when prompted. This connects your Zucoins Wallet to Zutopia.
Choose your username.
Once the wallet has been linked, choose your username and continue with account setup.
Turn on notifications.
After the username step is completed, enable notifications in the app.
Important Notes
Your Zucoins Wallet functions as both your identity and your password for Zutopia. Zutopia does not maintain custody or control over your wallet and cannot recover it if it is lost or compromised.
Zutopia currently requires an Australian address to trade. Support for other regions is planned once additional Stripe-supported countries are connected.
